Men’s Tennis Adds Talented Trio

Jagger Leach and Mark Krupkin join as freshman while Alex Chang is a transfer from Cal

STANFORD, Calif. – On the heels of a season that concluded with an ACC Championship and an NCAA semifinals appearance, Stanford men’s tennis has unveiled a talented class of incoming student-athletes. Jagger Leach (Laguna Beach, Calif.) and Mark Krupkin (Short Hills, N.J.) will join the Cardinal as freshmen while Alex Chang (Berkeley, Calif.) is a graduate transfer from California.

The three incoming student-athletes join a program that posted a 26-6 overall record in 2024-25, while going undefeated at home, posting a 12-0 record. The 26 total wins were tied for the fourth-most in a single-season in program history.

  • Tennis Recruiting Network five-star recruit, ranked No. 32 in the country. Career-high ranking of No. 11. No. 1 ranked recruit in New Jersey.
  • Won two ITF junior singles titles, in Medford and Eau Claire
  • Captured six ITF junior doubles championships, including three J100 titles in Woodbridge, Burlington and The Hague
  • Two-time USTA L1 Indoor National Champion, in 2023 and 2024

  • Posted a 21-11 record in singles 2024-25, including a 9-5 mark in dual play, and 16-18 in doubles.
