STANFORD, Calif. – Setter Logan Parks has been voted the ACC Freshman of the Week, the conference announced today.
Parks averaged 10.71 assists, 3.71 digs, 0.43 aces and 0.71 kills per set, while guiding the Cardinal offense to a combined .325 hitting in wins at Virginia and Virginia Tech to open ACC play.
At Virginia, Parks registered her second double-double of the season with 33 assists and a career-high tying 15 digs to go with three kills, an ace and a block. At Virginia Tech, she turned in her third double-double with 42 assists and 11 digs as Stanford hit a season-best .435 as a team against the Hokies.
It marks the second weekly honor for Parks, who was also voted the ACC Co-Setter of the Week on Sept. 15.
No. 4 Stanford welcomes Notre Dame and No. 6 Louisville to The Farm this weekend to open its home ACC slate.
