STANFORD, Calif. – Botond Balogh has been named MPSF West Player of the Week today, earning the honor for the second time this season.
Balogh scored a career-high seven goals on Sunday, assisting once as well in the win over No. 10 Long Beach State.
Through 13 games this season, the sophomore leads the team in points (64) goals (40) and assists (24). The 40 goals are also the second-most in the MPSF West this season.
Balogh and the Cardinal host No. 2 California on Friday in MPSF play, and will see No. 9 UC Davis on Sunday.
