STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford men's gymnastics will once again be featured on the world stage, as senior Asher Hong and alum Brody Malone headline Team USA at the 2025 FIG Senior Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, slated for October 19-25 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Hong and Malone join Brandon Dang, Patrick Hoopes, Kameron Nelson, and Donnell Whittenburg on the six-man U.S. roster.
No strangers to international competition, Hong and Malone last represented the United States together at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, helping Team USA win bronze for its first Olympic team medal in 16 years.
Between them, the two Cardinal gymnasts have combined to win each of the previous five U.S. all-around titles. Hong captured his second all-around crown in August after also winning in 2023, while Malone topped the podium in 2021, 2022, and 2024.
Malone, the 2022 World champion and 2021 bronze medalist on high bar, returns to the global spotlight aiming to add another medal to his decorated résumé. Meanwhile, Hong looks to break through for his first individual World medal after contributing to the U.S. team bronze in 2023.
All finals sessions of the 2025 FIG Senior Artistic Gymnastics World Championships will be streamed live on Peacock, while highlights of the Men's All-Around final will be broadcast on Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. PT on CNBC.
