STANFORD, Calif. — Davis Mills saw fourth-quarter action in Houston’s win, Christian McCaffrey was a star on Thursday night football, and Solomon Thomas had a revenge game in Week 5. This is just a small sampling of how Stanford football fared during the fifth week of the 2025 NFL season. Five games featured at least three Cardinal, with three games having at least four former Stanford student-athletes.

San Francisco 49ers 26, Los Angeles Rams 23 (OT)
- Christian McCaffrey (SF): Logged 30 total touches for San Francisco – 22 carries and eight receptions…ran for 57 yards and added 82 receiving yards…caught a one-yard pass from Mac Jones for a touchdown to put the 49ers up 14-0 in the second quarter…ranks third in the NFL in receptions (39) through five weeks, with the next closest running back having 25 receptions…has the second most scrimmage yards of any running back in the league (530).
- Curtis Robinson (SF): Appeared on 22 special teams snaps, all but one for the 49ers.
- Joshua Karty (LAR): Made a 48-yard field goal with two seconds remaining to send the game into overtime…missed a 53-yard field goal in the third quarter…made two of three extra point attempts, with his lone miss being blocked.
- Colby Parkinson (LAR): Started at tight end for the Rams and played 25 snaps, failing to catch his only target in the game.

Indianapolis Colts 40, Las Vegas Raiders 6
- Kyu Blu Kelly (LV): Started at cornerback for the Raiders and played all 66 defensive snaps, recording three tackles (two solo).
- Thomas Booker (LV): Drew the start at defensive tackle for Las Vegas and played 30 snaps, recording a solo tackle and a pass defended, his second of the season.
New Orleans Saints 26, New York Giants 14
- Justin Reid (NO): Started at safety and recorded two tackles in the Saints’ first win of the season…left the game in the first quarter after suffering a concussion and did not return.
- Bobby Okereke (NYG): Led the Giants in tackles with ten, including five solo tackles…his third game this season with at least 10 tackles…tied for third in the NFL in tackles with 48.
- Paulson Adebo (NYG): Played every snap at cornerback and recorded six solo tackles, tied for the most solo tackles on the team, including one tackle-for-loss.
Dallas Cowboys 37, New York Jets 22
- Solomon Thomas (DAL): Played 45 snaps against his former team, his most snaps of the season…recorded a tackle-for-loss in the first quarter with the Jets in the red zone…also deflected a pass.
- Harrison Phillips (NYJ): Started for the Jets and recorded two tackles…batted down one pass at the line of scrimmage.

Carolina Panthers 27, Miami Dolphins 24
- Brycen Tremayne (CAR): Played 17 offensive snaps for the Panthers and caught his only target for a nine-yard gain.
- Jake Bailey (MIA): Punted six times for an average of 52.0 yards…landed three punts inside the 20-yard line…had a long of 61 yards, his second-longest punt of the year…has a net average of 46.6 yards per punt, second-best in the NFL…held on four kick attempts (one field goal, three extra points).
- Ethan Bonner (MIA): Appeared on 20 special teams snaps.
Houston Texans 44, Baltimore Ravens 10
- Dalton Schultz (HOU): Led the Texans in targets with six and turned that into five receptions (team high) for 60 yards…third consecutive game with five receptions, but his 60 receiving yards are a season high.
- Davis Mills (HOU): Made his 2025 debut in the fourth quarter, taking over for C.J. Stroud…completed two passes on four attempts for 23 yards…first former Cardinal quarterback to appear in a game this season.
Tennessee Titans 22, Arizona Cardinals 21
- Elic Ayomanor (TEN): Received four targets and caught two passes for 18 yards in his first NFL win.
- Michael Wilson (ARI): Caught two passes on four targets for 16 yards.
- Elijah Higgins (ARI): Brought in his targets for 10 receiving yards.
- Simi Fehoko (ARI): Played 19 special teams snaps and appeared on offense for the first time in a Cardinals uniform, playing four snaps.
Washington Commanders 27, Los Angeles Chargers 10
- Zach Ertz (WAS): Failed to bring in his only target, snapping a streak of 144 consecutive games with a reception, which was the third-longest active streak in the league and 19th-longest in NFL history.
- Foster Sarell (LAC): Played a season-high 29 snaps for the Chargers, appearing at right tackle…29 snaps are his most in a game since the final game of the 2023 regular season on Jan. 7, 2024.
- Tucker Fisk (LAC): Drew his second start of the season and played 17 snaps.
- Kendall Williamson (LAC): Appeared on 12 special teams snaps.
New England Patriots 23, Buffalo Bills 20
- Austin Hooper (NE): Saw 34 offensive snaps at tight end in the Patriots’ upset win over the Bills.
Jacksonville Jaguars 31, Kansas City Chiefs 28
- Walker Little (JAX): Started and played all 58 snaps at left tackle for the Jaguars…highest-graded offensive lineman for Jacksonville, per PFF (71.6).
