STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford's Jasmine Aikey, Elise Evans, Shae Harvey, Andrea Kitahata, Charlotte Kohler and Sammy Smith were each named Academic All-District, it was announced on Tuesday.
Aikey has been named an Academic All-American in each of the last two seasons, including landing on the first team a year ago, and will look to earn a third consecutive selection later this season. Harvey and Kitahata are second-time All-District selections after being lauded a year ago, while Evans also earns her second selection after previously being honored in 2023.
The Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists, including Aikey, Evans, Harvey, Kitahata and Kohler, will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on December 16.
