STANFORD, Calif. – Having claimed its first Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season and tournament titles, Stanford placed five players on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region teams.
Seniors Jasmine Aikey and Elise Evans earned spots on the first team, while sophomore Charlotte Kohler and redshirt-senior Andrea Kitahata landed on the second team. Freshman goalkeeper Caroline Birkel was named to the third team.
Aikey and Evans are All-Region selections for the fourth time. The duo was named to the fourth team a year ago after previously being named All-Pacific Region first team in each of their first two seasons at Stanford. Kitahata, Kohler and Birkel were all selected for the first time in their careers.
Stanford, preparing to make its 13th appearance in the College Cup, including its third in as many seasons, will continue its pursuit of a fourth national title when it meets No. 2 seed and 11th-ranked Duke on Friday at 5:45 p.m. PT in a semifinal match from the 2025 NCAA Women's College Cup in Kansas City, Mo.
