- No. 4 Stanford men’s tennis is Dallas-bound for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, hosted at SMU’s Styslinger / Altec Tennis Complex. The Cardinal is the fourth seed in the Dallas section, and it will face fifth-seeded No. 22 Arizona State in the round of 16 on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 a.m. PT (9 a.m. CT).
- The Cardinal will face either No. 2 Ohio State or SMU on Saturday, Feb. 14 and one of No. 23 Florida, No. 6 Mississippi State, No. 16 Clemson or No. 1 Virginia on Sunday, Feb. 15 or Monday, Feb. 16.
- The Cardinal reached the semifinals at the 2025 ITA National Team Indoor Championships, which was the first for the Cardinal since reaching the same round in 2018. Stanford last played for the title in 2002, but The Cardinal has seen considerable success overall at ITAs, boasting 12 all-time titles. No other program (UCLA) has more than seven.
- Stanford enters the match ranked No. 4 in the country, dropping one spot from a season-high No. 3 in the Feb. 4 rankings, which was the program's highest ranking since March 27, 2018. Two players were ranked in the updated singles rankings: Hudson Rivera(53) and Alex Chang (80), and, the Cardinal has two ranked doubles pairs: Chang/Alex Razeghi (29) and Nico Godsick/Rivera (40).
- Entering ITAs, Stanford swept a pair of ranked opponents in No. 14 UCLA (4-2) and No. 22 USC (4-1) but fell on the road to No. 24 Pepperdine, 4-0.
- Stanford men's tennis hosted ITA Kickoff Weekend from Jan. 23-24, defeating Utah (4-1) and Rice (4-0) to advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
- Jagger Leachwas named ACC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 3 for the second time this season for his performance in the two matches. Leach is out to a 5-1 start in singles this spring.
- Alex Chang leads the team with 10 singles wins this season, and has clinched three of the six victories, while Razeghi ranks second with seven singles victories and Jagger Leach has five. The tandem of Chang and Razeghi paces the Cardinal with six doubles wins while the duos of Hudson Riveraand Nico Godsick and Mark Krupkin and Jagger Leach have posted three. The doubles pair of Chang and Razeghi reached the round of 16 at the NCAA Doubles Championship in November.

- The Cardinal finished a remarkable season in 2024-25, going 26-6 overall while winning an ACC Championship in its first season in the conference and advancing to the national semifinals of the NCAA Championships and the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
- Stanford returns seven players from last season's roster, including ITA All-American Samir Banerjeeand four additional players that won at last nine singles matches last season. The Cardinal added a trio of strong newcomers in Jagger Leach, the top-rated recruit in the country per Tennis Recruiting Network, five-star signee Mark Krupkin and California transfer Alex Chang, who was an All-Pac-12 second team honoree for the Golden Bears in 2024.
- The Cardinal has had success on the professional level, notably with Nishesh Basavareddy, Tristan Boyerand Arthur Fery in recent years. All three have earned grand slam wins, including second round Australian Open appearances in 2026 from Basavareddy and Fery. Boyer has reached the second round of the US Open and the Australian Open, while Fery also reached the second round in singles at Wimbledon in 2025, beating the world No. 20 player Alexei Popyrin, and the third round in doubles at Wimbledon in 2024.
- Stanford's current student-athletes have also seen widespread success in ITF Futures and ATP Challenger tournaments, with the program earning 12 ITF futures championships in the summer of 2025, including eight titles from returning players.
- Paul Goldsteinis in his 12th season as the Taube Family Director of Men's Tennis. Goldstein’s teams have posted a 198-80 record with a national ranking and a berth in the NCAA Championships in each of his seasons at the helm.
