STANFORD, Calif. – No. 24 Stanford men’s tennis continued its winning ways on The Farm, defeating visiting Boston College, 4-0. Stanford improves to 11-5 this season and 4-2 in the ACC.
The Cardinal improves to 2-0 all-time against Boston College and 33-1 over its past 34 home matches, dating back to the 2023 campaign.
Stanford held an early lead in doubles after wins on courts one and three. Boston College took the first doubles win on court two, but it was quickly followed with a victory on court three from Mark Krupkin and Jagger Leach, who earned their fourth win together this season. Alex Chang and Alex Razeghi tallied a 7-5 win on court one to clinch the advantage, with the duo improving to 13-4 this season, and 7-2 in dual action.
The Cardinal was dominant in singles, quickly winning a trio of matches to clinch the victory. Jagger Leach notched a 6-1, 6-1 victory on court five for his second win of the weekend, while Hudson Rivera rolled to a 6-2, 6-3 win on court three to extend the margin to 3-0. The win was the 10th of the year for Leach and the seventh for Rivera.
Clinching his second match in as many days, Nico Godsick finished the Eagles with a 6-1, 6-1 victory on court four.
Stanford returns to ACC action on the road on Friday, March 20 at Notre Dame. The first serves are set for 2 p.m. PT.
