Cao Named ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year

Junior leads list of 16 Stanford All-ACC Academic honorees

STANFORD, Calif. – The Cardinal has landed 16 student-athletes on All-ACC Academic Fencing Team, headlined by Arianna Cao’s selection as ACC Women’s Fencing Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Cao, a junior majoring in computer science, earned the honor for her success in competition and in the classroom. Cao won the ACC women’s foil title this season, while earning a 3.93 GPA this winter.

The 16 Stanford selections to the All-Academic team feature nine from the women’s team and seven from the men’s team.
