Four Academic All-Americans

It is the second consecutive season the Cardinal has had four Academic All-America selections

Four Cardinal earned Academic All-America honors for the 2025–26 season, as announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday morning.

Lucy Bell, Caroline Bricker, and Torri Huske were selected to the Academic All-America First Team, while Gigi Johnson earned Second Team honors. Bell, Bricker, and Huske each collected their second career CSC Academic All-America selections, while Johnson became a first-time honoree.

It marks the second consecutive season that four Stanford student-athletes have received Academic All-America honors, after the program achieved the milestone for the first time last year. The Cardinal now boasts 29 CSC Academic All-Americans in program history.

Bell, a Fort Collins, Colo. native, wrapped up her time on The Farm with the best collegiate season of her career, winning national titles in both the 200 breast and 200 IM. Bell concludes her career as a 15-time NCAA All-American and holds "Stanford Top 10" marks in six different events.

Huske, who won the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award last week, swept her three individual events at the NCAA Championships in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 fly, and added conference titles in the 100 fly and 200 IM. Huske is one of four swimmers in program history to earn the maximum 28 All-America honors.

Bricker earned three First Team All-America finishes at the NCAA Championships this season, including a bronze medal finish in the 200 fly. A two-time NCAA Champion, the junior out of Colorado Springs, Colo., is now an eight-time All-American in her career.

Johnson capped off her Cardinal career by earning All-America honors in each of her seven events at this year's NCAA Championships. The Atlanta native guided Stanford to national runner-up finishes in the 200 free relay and 200 medley relay, and earned a career-best individual finish in the 100 fly with a fourth-place effort.

Stanford is coming off a national runner-up finish at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships for the second consecutive season, securing the best finish under a first-year head coach since 1980 in Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming Chris Lindauer's debut season.
