Stanford heads into the weekend having picked up a clinical win on Senior Day, dispatching the Louisville Cardinals at Cagan Stadium, 22-5. Against the Cardinals, Stanford jumped out to a 6-0 lead through the first 12 minutes of the contest following a pair of goals from Jordyn Case. The Cardinal continued the offensive onslaught to end the half, outsourcing the Cardinals 7-1 in the second quarter to take a 13-3 lead into the break. Though Louisville took the third quarter by a 2-1 margin, Stanford shut the door on the visitors’ offense with a 26-minute shutout while the hosts tacked on eight more goals to clinch the 22-5 win.

Against the Cardinals, Stanford had 10 different players record a goal including Ava Arceri tying her career-high with six on the afternoon. Jordyn Case and Lexi Rodell tallied hat tricks as well while Lindsey Devir, Aliya Polisky and Annabel Frist added braces. The 10 goal scorers marks the ninth time this season Stanford has had eight or more goalscorers in a game. Defensively, Ella Morton earned six saves on the day on 16 shots faced while Rylee Bouvier led the squad with three of Stanford’s 13 caused turnovers.

Aliya Polisky and Mallory Hasselbeck lead the Cardinal in scoring this season with 50 and 41 points a piece. Polisky holds the team lead in goals with 31 on the campaign while earning 19 assists which sets a new career high for the redshirt-junior. Hasselbeck’s 41 points come via a 20-21-41 line as the fifth-year is enjoying a career year with the Cardinal. Ava Arceri sits just behind the duo and became the third Cardinal to record 40+ points this season following a 6-1-7 line against Louisville. Arceri slots second in goals with 30 on the season while posting a 30-10-40 line. In total nine players have recorded double-digit goals this season.

Stanford ranks fifth in the conference in assists per game, averaging 7.69 through 13 games with Hasselbeck owning the team lead with 21 helpers this season. Polisky slots second with a career-high 19 helpers alongside Martha Oakey who earned five of her 19 helpers this season in the win over Louisville last Saturday. Oakey currently has 34 points with a 15-19-34 line.

On the draw circle, Annabel Frist leads the Cardinal with 52 on the campaign after earning seven in the win last weekend. Frist has tallied 370 career draw controls and sits two draw controls shy of tying Genesis Lucero (2016-21) for the program record in draw controls. Jordyn Case sits just behind Frist with 49 draw controls this season as she sits two back from tying her single-season high having tallied three or more draw controls in each of the last five games. Amanda Lawson and Rylee Bouvier sit third and fourth, respectively, with 21 and 19 draw controls a piece through 13 games.

The Stanford defense continues to rank among the nation's best with Rylee Bouvier and Kate Bellissimo leading the charge having both earned conference honors this season.
