STANFORD, Calif. – Turning in a stellar first season on The Farm, freshman Teddy Tokheim has been named to the All-ACC second team and earned a spot on the All-Freshman team.
Tokheim is the second player to be named to an All-ACC team after Trevor Haskins landed on the third team a year ago. Current sophomore Tatum Marsh was named to the All-Freshman team a year ago, as Tokheim becomes the second first-year Cardinal to be lauded by the conference.
Tokheim leads the Cardinal in hitting with a .353 average, having posted 38 runs scored, 18 doubles, 16 homers and 44 RBIs while compiling a .418 on-base percentage and a .700 slugging percentage. The native of Seattle, Wash. leads the team with both 22 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI contests, has hit safely in 36 of his 46 games played, and has reached in all but eight of his contests.
Splitting the bulk of his time between left field and designated hitter, Tokheim batted .372 (48-for-129) with 23 runs scored, 14 doubles, 12 home runs and 33 RBIs in ACC play while posting a .760 slugging percentage and a .423 on-base percentage.
Among true freshmen this year, Tokheim ranks first in extra-base hits (34) and total bases (133), second in home runs (16), third in slugging (.700), doubles (18) and OPS (1.118), ninth in average (.353), 11th in hits (67) and 15th in RBIs (44). His 16 home runs are two shy of the Stanford freshman record of 18 set by Braden Montgomery in 2022
The Cardinal is preparing to compete in the 2026 ACC Baseball Championship beginning Tuesday. Stanford carries the No. 12 seed and will open play against 13th-seed California at 10 a.m. PT.
