2007 Pac-10 All-Academic Baseball Teams

Walnut Creek, Calif. - David Stringer (3.88 GPA, Mathematical and Computational Sciences) and Grant Escue (3.62 GPA, Undeclared) earned First Team Pac-10 All-Academic honors to lead eight Stanford players honored by the conference on Wednesday.

Ryan Seawell (3.27 GPA, Economics) and Austin Yount (3.32 GPA, Undeclared) were Second Team selections.

Joey August (3.27 GPA, Sociology), Jeremy Bleich (3.25 GPA, Undeclared), Brendan Domaracki (3.19 GPA, Economics) and Tom Stilson (3.04 GPA, Geological and Environmental Sciences) picked up honorable mention honors.

Stringer was a First Team selection for the second consecutive year, while Seawell was a member of the Second Team for the second straight season. All others were first-time picks.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter of significant contributor.
