Women's MPSF All-Academic Team ![]()
WOODLAND, Calif. - The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation executive director, Al Beaird, has announced the Academic All-MPSF Scholar-Athletes for the 2011 MPSF Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field season. The Cardinal led the conference with 33 total nominees. The 18 men were tops in the conference, while the 15 women were tied with Washington and Washington State.
Earning MPSF scholar-athlete honors for the men were Miles Unterreiner, Chris Derrick, Elliott Heath, Andrew Berberick, Sean Wallace, Corey Dysick, Benjamin Johnson, Tyler Valdes, Kevin Havel, Mark Mueller, Carter Wells, Amaechi Morton, Tyrone McGraw, Brendan Gregg, Kevin Cardey, Geoffrey Tabor, JT Sullivan and Tyler Stutzman.
Seven of the men were repeat winners from last year, while Heath and Gregg are three-time honorees.
For the women it was Madeline Duhon, Alyssa Wisdom, Molly Kinsella, Stephanie Marcy, Justine Fedronic, Kristin Reese, Victoria Pennings, Hannah Farley, Alex Gits, Joy O'Hare, Brittni Dixon-Smith, Whitney Liehr, Kala Stepter, Sarah McCurdy and Katerina Stefanidi.
Seven of the women were also repeat winners, while Duhon is a four-time winner and Marcy is a three-time recipient.
