Amateur Summer Baseball - Played briefly in the summer of 2003 for the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod League, striking out five in 3.1 innings and recording an 8.10 ERA without a decision in two relief appearances • Spent the summer of 2002 with Hyannis as well, going 0-1 with a 4.30 ERA and striking out 17 batters in 14.2 innings, appearing in seven games with one start • Played three years with the Orange County Cardinals in a Connie Mack League • Won a bronze medal with the 2000 USA Baseball Junior National Pan American team • Won a gold medal with the 1999 USA Baseball Youth National squad • A member of the 1998 Diamond Bar Senior Little League World Series champions.
