Summer Ball: Played for Rockridge in the Summer of 2009, producing a 7.66 ERA and 2-2 record over 15 relief appearances.

Stanford Career: Appeared in 14 games over two seasons as a sidearmer, producing a 4.05 ERA over 20.0 innings.

As a senior in 2012: Appeared in six games as a reliever with a 2.84 ERA over 6.1 innings... gave up two earned on six hits with three strikeouts and two walks.... pitched the final scoreless innings of the 2012 season in the Super Regional loss at Florida State (6/10).

As a junior in 2011: Appeared in eight games out of the bullpen, the sidearmer had a 4.61 ERA over 13.2 innings with eight strikeouts and four walks... gave up 13 hits... bridged middle innings in game at Oregon with 2.0 shutout innings to lead to closer and eventual first round pick Chris Reed in the seventh in an eventual 9-8 win at Oregon (5/14)... appeared in first game in three seasons in series opener in Houston with 3.1 no-hit innings at No. 17 Rice (2/19)... went 3.0 innings, giving up five earned against Saint Mary's (3/29).

At Stanford in 2009 and 2010: Was not on Stanford's final 35-man roster in 2009 and was on the 35-man roster in 2010.

High School: Graduated in 2008 from Poly Tech High School in Pasadena, Calif., where he was a four-year letterwinner in both baseball and basketball ... helped his club to a dominant four-year run on the diamond, as Poly won four straight Prep League championships (2005-08) and advanced to the semifinals of the 2007 CIF Southern Section Division VI playoffs ... fashioned a stellar 2008 senior season that resulted in Prep League MVP honors and an All-CIF team selection ... went 9-0 with two saves and a 0.69 ERA ... recorded 103 strikeouts in 60.2 innings, giving up just 38 hits while walking another 17 ... was also a .339 hitter with eight doubles, two home runs and 22 RBIs ... was a threetime first-team All-Prep League selection (2006-08) ... was a three-time All-Prep League and All-CIF selection in basketball, while the hoops star was also a McDonald's All-America nominee ... led Poly to back-to-back league titles in 2005-06 and 2006-07.
