2006 (JUNIOR): Led the team in rushing yardage (470) and added 19 catches for 156 yards out of the backfield to rank second in receptions...led the team in all-purpose yardage (734) as he also added 108 yard in eight kickoff returns...started 11 of the 12 games at running back and led the team in rushing seven times, including each of the last five contests...opened the year with just 14 yards on five carries against Oregon...improved to 53 yards on 14 carries the following week against San Jose State...finished with 27 yards on six carries against Navy, including the first Cardinal touchdown at the new Stanford Stadium on a two-yard run with 11:58 left in the third quarter...finished with 40 yards on 11 carries the next weekend against Washington State...also caught a then career-high-tying four passes for a career-high-tying 48 yards against the Cougars...missed the UCLA game...finished with 63 yards on a season high-tying 15 carries at Notre Dame...also connected with Kelton Lynn on a 57-yard touchdown pass on a halfback option in the fourth quarter...the play ranked as Stanford's third-longest pass play of the season...finished with just 10 yards on six carries at Arizona...returned to form the next weekend against Arizona State, finishing with 83 yards on 11 carries...totaled 22 yards on 15 carries against USC and 35 yards on 11 carries against Washington...78-yard rushing day against Oregon State was highlighted by a 36-yard touchdown run in the first quarter...finished with 45 yards on 12 carries against California...earned first team Pac-10 All-Academic honors and was the recipient of the Frank Rehm Award as the most outstanding back in the Big Game against California.

2005 (SOPHOMORE): Quickly moved to the top of the depth chart after being converted from wide receiver to running back in spring drills...earned starts in the first six games of the season before an injury forced him to miss the next two contests...worked in a reserve role for the final three games of the season...battled through injuries to finish second on the team with 244 rushing yards on 66 carries, including two touchdowns...also recorded 14 receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns...was impressive in the season-opener at Navy, finishing with 59 yards on 11 carries and one touchdown...also caught three passes for 28 yards...had 51 yards on 10 carries the following week against UC Davis...rushed for a season-high 77 yards in 18 carries and caught two passes for 48 yards in the 24-21 win at Washington State...caught a 10-yard pass from Trent Edwards in Stanford's 20-16 win at Arizona...was on the receiving end of a 15-yard Edwards' scoring strike the following week in the Cardinal's home win over Arizona State...honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic selection.
