The 2021 season marks Greg Mangan's fourth as an offensive assistant and ninth overall with the program. Mangan started as a defensive graduate assistant in 2013 while pursuing a Masters in Liberal Arts, before transitioning to defensive assistant in 2015. As part of the defensive staff, Mangan assisted with the defensive backs. He now assists with the team's quarterbacks.

Prior to his arrival on the The Farm, Mangan served as Oberlin College quarterbacks coach for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. In 2010, he was an assistant coach for his high school alma mater, San Francisco's Saint Ignatius College Prep.  In 2009, he served as a volunteer coach at junior college power City College of San Francisco.

A 2009 Oberlin College graduate, Mangan was a three-year starter at quarterback for the Yeomen and served as team captain his senior year. He was a Don Hansen DIII All-North Region selection in 2006 and garnered NCAC all-conference nods in 2007 and 2008. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Andrews Family Award for dedication to academic and athletic excellence and demonstration of leadership skills. Mangan holds several major passing records for Oberlin, including yards, completions, touchdowns, and completion percentage.
