Derin Saran Season 2024-25

As a Sophomore (at Stanford, 2024-25):

• Transferred to Stanford prior to the 2024-25 season. Joins Oziyah Sellers as Stanford's undergraduate transfers since 2009 (Andrew Zimmerman)

As a Freshman (at UC Irvine, 2023-24):

• Appeared in 32 games off the bench
• Averaged 10.1 points 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, including shooting marks of 50.2 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from 3-point range
• Finished in double figures 16 times, including a career-high 17 points twice, at Cal Poly on Feb. 1 and vs. Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 4.

• Three-time Conference Champion (2021, 2022, 2023)
• Western North Carolina Player of the Year (2023)
• North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year nominee (2023)
• Ranked No. 4 North Carolina HS Player (2023)
• Averaged 19.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists in his senior year
• Member of Turkey youth national team system at the under-19 and under-20 levels.
