  • Set personal record in the 1,500 of 3:43.48 at the Payton Jordan Invitational, finishing ninth in the third heat.
  • Advanced to the final round of the NCAA West Prelims in the 1,500, placing eighth in his semifinal and 15th overall.
  • Ran first leg of third-place distance medley relay team at the Penn Relays (9:37.11).
  • Won the 1,500 at the Hornet Invitational at Sacramento State, in 3:46.95.
  • Pac-12 All-Academic first team.
  • USTFCCCA All-Academic team.

  • Ran one race, finishing 12th in the mile at the MPSF Championships in a personal best 4:07.43.

2014 Season:
Outdoors 

  • Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims in the 1,500.
  • Ran 3:48.63, but did not advance.
  • Placed 12th at the Pac-12 Championships (3:53.97).
  • Ran a PB of 3:45.30 while placing fifth in the second section at the Payton Jordan Invitational.
  • Set a PB in the 800 of 1:50.29 while placing third in the Big Meet.
  • Ran the second leg of the 4x800 that finished fifth at the Penn Relays (7:24.99).
  • Competed in five meets, anchoring a 4x400 at the Stanford Invitational.

  • Won the USATF junior national championship in the 1,500 meters in in 3:46.64.
  • Won on a sprint down the stretch at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
  • Continued to progress as a top middle-distance prospect.
  • Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims in the 1,500, placing 26th in 3:49.92.
  • Ran personal best 3:46.13 to finish fourth in his section at the Payton Jordan Invitational.
  • Ran a personal best 800 of 1:50.92 to place fifth at the Big Meet.
  • Did not escape the prelims at the Pac-12 Championships, running 1:51.74 in the 800.
  • Competed in six meets, including as a 4x400 anchor at the Jim Click Shootout.

Indoors 

  • Set personal records in the mile and 800.
  • Placed fifth in the 800 at the MPSF Championships in a personal best of 1:51.22.
  • Ran the 800 (third) leg on the fourth-place DMR team at the MPSF's (9:43.98).

High School:

  • The 2011 Texas state 5A runner-up in the 1,600 meters in 4:09.36.
  • He also placed third in 2010 and fourth in 2012.
  • Winner of the 2011 road Congress Avenue Mile, considered the championship of Texas, with a course-record time of 4:06.31.
  • Holds the Kingwood school records in the 800 (1:52.65), 1,600 (4:09.36) and 3,000 (8:30.42).
  • Helped Kingwood to a No. 1 national ranking in track during the 2012 season.
  • Champion in the 1,600 at the 2011 Region 2-5A meet.
  • Won the 1,600 and 3,200 at the 2011 and 2012 District 14-5A meet and was runner-up in both at the Region 2-5A.
  • Led the Kingwood cross-country team to three top-10 state finishes.
