Andrew Gvozden joined the Stanford women’s lacrosse coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in 2019.
In his first year on The Farm, he tutored Turdie Grattan, who became the first goaltender to win three Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week awards in a season and career.
An All-American and team captain at Hofstra, Gvozden was a two-year starting goalie for the Pride. In 2011, he led the nation with a 6.00 goals against average and earned USILA All-America honorable mention honors.
Gvozden is also the co-founder of Goaliesmith Lacrosse where he tutored more than 1,100 goalies at 34 events in 19 cities across the U.S. in 2018.
Gvozden was named an NCAA Scholar All-American as a senior and graduated from Hofstra's Frank G. Zarb School of Business in 2012.
