Jo Kremer enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Stanford beach volleyball program in 2025.

Her first season on The Farm was a historic one, as Stanford cemented its position as one of the best programs in the country, guided by its best-ever record (32-6) and 21 wins over top-ranked teams from across the nation. The Cardinal recorded seven all-conference honors, including Brooke Rockwell's Freshman of the Year award, and had four AVCA All-American selections for the first time in program history.

The 2023 AVCA Thirty Under 30 honoree comes to The Farm after spending a year as the assistant coach for the Tulane beach volleyball program. In New Orleans, Kremer helped lead the Green Wave to its most successful season ever, finishing ranked No. 17 nationally after matching its program record for wins in a single season (24-10 throughout the 2023 season).

During her time in the Big Easy, Kremer led all video and statistics responsibilities for the beach volleyball program while also organizing all team bonding activities and scheduling all meal needs for the Green Wave. She was an instrumental part of Tulane's coaching staff that saw three of its athletes earn All-C-USA Conference honors.

Kremer spent the summer of 2022 as the co-coach and chaperone for the USA Youth Beach Volleyball teams' trip to the Maccabi Games in Israel. During the three-and-a-half-week trip, she led her pairs to seven top-four medal finishes.

Before her time at Tulane, Kremer spent multiple years coaching some of the best high school and club indoor and beach volleyball teams in the nation. She had a multi-year stint at her alma mater Harvard-Westlake School, while also coaching at Bishop Montgomery High School and Cresent Beach Volleyball, Surfside Volleyball, and Better At Beach Clubs.

The Pacific Palisades, Calif. native had an incredible collegiate career on the sand, winning three national championships (NCAA: 2016, 2017; AVCA: 2015) with the University of Southern California Beach Volleyball team, including one season coached by Andrew Fuller (2015). She was named the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year following her 2018 senior season and was a member of the NCAA All–Tournament team during the Women of Troy's national championship run in 2016. She spent one season as the libero for Notre Dame under former USC women's volleyball player Debbie Brown.

Kremer graduated from USC in May of 2018 with a degree in Communication. She married partner Marshall Brock in August of 2024. The duo resides together in Palo Alto, Calif.
