Stanford had its two-game win streak against Washington snapped as the Huskies extended their all-time lead in the series to 40-34-3.

Mark Bradford had two receptions to increase his career total to 145 and 19 yards receiving to reach 2095 for his career. Bradford is ninth on Stanford's all-time reception list and has moved within 130 yards of 10th-place Tony Hill (2225, 1973-76) on Stanford's all-time list for yards receiving.

Tyrone McGraw had career-highs in rushing yardage with 89 on 11 carries, as well as receptions (4) and yards receiving (36). He also scored his first career touchdown on a one yard run with 2:30 remaining in the third quarter and had the longest run of his career with a 33-yarder.

Corey Gatewood made his debut as a running back and had 63 yards on just five carries, including a 43-yarder. Gatewood also had a career-best 41-yard kickoff return the first time he has returned a kick in his career.

Stanford allowed Washington 388 rushing yards to mark the sixth-highest opponent total in school history.

The 255-yard rushing game by Washington's Louis Rankin marked the first 200-yard rushing game by an opponent since Washington State's Jerome Harrison rushed for 218 against the Cardinal on October 8, 2005.

The Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame honored its 2007 class at halftime of the contest with the inductees including Canyon Ceman, Jessica Fischer, Debbie Graham, John Paye, Brian Retterer, Kate Starbird, Jenny Thompson and the late Dr. Sebron "Ed" Tucker.
