STANFORD, Calif.-- Brian Ragira's two-run triple ignited a six-run eighth inning as No. 28-ranked Stanford (25-16, 9-9 Pac-10) swept the series with Washington (13-30, 4-14 Pac-10), following a 7-2 win on Sunday.

Trailing 2-1, Ragira's triple off the centerfield wall erased the Huskies' game-long lead, leading to Adam Cimber's (2-4) second loss of the series. An Kenny Diekroeger RBI double then chased the Washington closer from the game, making it 3-1, before an RBI single by Danny Diekroeger, RBI double by Dave Giuliani and sacrifice fly made it 7-2.

Washington took a 2-0 lead thanks to a Jacob Lamb RBI single in the first and Jordan Pries' wild pitch in the third.

An unearned run was all Washington starter Austin Voth would surrender-- in the third, as the righthander tossed six innings, scattering six hits. Cimber then pitched a perfect seventh, before giving up four hits in the eighth to take the loss.

Pries countered with 7.1 innings, giving up two runs on seven hits, giving the ball Scott Snodgress who struck out Lamb in the eighth with a runner on first, before walking Troy Scott. Brian Busick (2-0) then got an inning-ending fielder's choice to keep it at 2-1, before pitching a scoreless ninth.

NOTES: Stanford's long week continues with a 6 p.m game at Pacific on Monday and by hosting UC Davis on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m... the eight games in 10 days continues with a road trip at Oregon next weekend.
