STANFORD, Calif. – In a battle of top 25 programs, the No. 20 Stanford women's gymnastics team travels to the McKale Center in Tucson on Sunday to face No. 25 Arizona in a conference meet that will be televised by Pac-12 Networks at 11 a.m. PT.

The Cardinal (6-6, 0-2 Pac-12) is coming off a strong showing last week at the UC Davis quad meet against the host Aggies, San Jose State and Seattle Pacific. Stanford won by tallying a season-high 196.050 points as three student-athletes posted season-highs.

Leading the way was freshman Rachael Flam from Houston, who tied for first on vault with teammate Elizabeth Price (9.875), tied for first on balance beam with teammate Kaylee Cole (9.825), tied for first on floor (9.875), and tied for fourth on the uneven bars (9.800), all personal bests.

Competing in all-around for the first time as a collegian, Flam won with a season-high 39.375, and was named Pac-12 Newcomer of the Week.

Freshmen Kyla Bryant and Lauren Navarro earned a share of fourth in all-around at 39.075.

Head coach Tabitha Yim chose to rest Price, her prolific senior, in two events. Price won the bars (9.925) and tied for first in vault.

Price, who is scheduled to compete in all four events against Arizona, leads the country on bars (9.950), ranks third on floor (9.938) and seventh on bars (9.895). She also ranks a close second in all-around at 39.669, while Flam is 12th at 39.375.

The Cardinal is 15-3 against Arizona (0-6, 0-3 Pac-12) since 2000 and ranks higher nationally in three of four events and in the all-around.

Saturday's meet also marks Yim's return to Tucson, where she coached the Wildcats for two seasons (2015-17).

"I feel very blessed to have worked with every single athlete on the floor," said Yim, when asked what she will be thinking on Saturday.
