STANFORD, Calif. - No. 21 Stanford takes its seven-game winning streak on the road to Iowa City, Iowa, this weekend for two matchups against top-10 competition. The Cardinal will square off against No. 6 Michigan on Saturday at 12:30 pm. PT and No. 10 Iowa at 12 p.m. PT, with both games coming on the Hawkeyes' home turf.
The Cardinal picked up two wins at home last weekend on the Varsity Turf for the team's longest winning streak since September 2017. Sophomore Corinne Zanolli and junior Kelsey Bing were named America East Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for their standout performances.

Zanolli scored four goals over the two Cardinal victories to increase her season total to 15, which matches her team-high 15 goals from the 2017 season. Zanolli ranks third in the nation in goals (15) and goals per game (1.5). Bing had six saves Friday night in a hard-fought 2-1 win before coming up with six more on Sunday for a 5-0 shutout of UC Davis in the America East season opener for both teams.
This past weekend also featured strong performances from the Cardinal's talented freshman class. Fenella Scutt and Lily Croddick each picked up their first career goals on Sunday against the Aggies — Scutt added an assist both Friday and Sunday — while Molly Redgrove was a force on defense to hold Stanford's opponents to only one goal across two games.
Michigan (8-4, 4-1 Big Ten) has played seven ranked opponents through the first 12 games of the season. The Big Blue have a record of 3-4 in those matchups, including a 2-1 loss at then-No. 1 Connecticut and a victory at then-No. 6 Penn State.
Iowa (10-2, 3-1 Big Ten) comes into the weekend having won nine of its last 10 contests. Maddy Murphy leads the Hawkeyes with nine goals, while Katie Birch has added eight assists and seven goals of her own.
Stanford, which has won at least 13 games in each of head coach Tara Danielson's eight seasons, looks to push its winning streak to eight on Saturday afternoon against Michigan. With a win, the Cardinal would secure its longest winning streak since a 12-match stretch in 2014.
