STANFORD, Calif. - On a Senior Day that featured senior Monika Sivilli's first career hat trick, No. 19 Stanford women's lacrosse vaulted past Bay Area rival Cal, 17-6, at Cagan Stadium on Friday evening.

Head Coach Amy Bokker won her 150th career game with the Cardinal as Stanford finished the regular season at 12-4 overall and 7-3 in the Pac-12.

The Cardinal clinched the No. 3 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament and will play sixth-seeded Oregon in the first round on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

How it Happened
Junior Mikaela Watson matched Sivilli's career performance with a hat trick of her own, while fellow sophomore Ali Baiocco recorded four points with two goals and two assists.

In the first seven minutes of game, the Cardinal raced out to an early 3-0 lead as Watson scored two of her three goals to give Stanford the early edge.

Sophomore Galen Lew's second goal of the half gave Stanford a 10-1 lead at the 5:44 mark.

Cal (6-11, 3-7) stopped Stanford's string of seven straight goals, but Sivilli scored in the final minute to record her hat trick and propel Stanford to a 12-2 lead at the break.

Baiocco and sophomore Katherine Gjertsen scored the first two goals of the second half for a 14-2 lead.

The teams then traded goals over the final 28 minutes. Freshman Kelleigh Keating scored her first career goal for a 16-5 lead at the 7:00 mark, and freshman Caitlin Chicoski capped the scoring for the Cardinal with 3:52 to play.
