CORVALLIS, Ore. – Stanford finished third on Friday night in the NCAA Corvallis Regional, failing to advance to Saturday's final session.
Competing against host Oregon State, Florida and Iowa in the Second Session of the day, the Cardinal scored 196.075. Florida won with 197.500 and the Beavers took second at 197.125 and will join Denver (196.975) and Boise State (196.225) from the First Session in Saturday's final.
Stanford finished fifth overall.
"It was encouraging to see the team put together a meet in a championship environment, and it sets a strong foundation for us to build off of in the coming year," said head coach Tabitha Yim. "We will miss our seniors and appreciate their dedication to the program for the past four years. It has been slow and steady, but we continue to take steps towards becoming the team and program we want to be."

Starting on floor exercise, its strongest event, Stanford totaled 49.225 to earn second place, but it was uphill the rest of the evening at noisy Gill Coliseum. The Cardinal slipped to third after vault and couldn't catch Florida or Oregon State.

Bryant could still advance to the NCAA Championships on April 19-20 in Fort Worth, Texas as an individual in all-around if Florida and Denver earn the top two spots in Saturday night's Regional final.
