12 Earn IRA All-Academic Honors

STANFORD, Calif. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Board of Stewards announced 12 Stanford lightweight rowers have been named to the IRA All-Academic squad, excelling both on the water and in the classroom.

In order to qualify for the honor, athletes needed to maintain a 3.35 GPA or higher, be of at least sophomore standing academically, be an institutional letterwinner, and have competed at the 2022 IRA Championships.

The Cardinal women's lightweight program finished tied-for-fourth at the IRA Championships, led by a third-place finish for Stanford in the varsity 8+ and a fifth-place result for the Cardinal in the varsity 4+ race.
