CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 12 Stanford finished third in the MASC Championship after defeating No. 18 Georgetown 6-3 on Sunday in the school's first year in the conference.
The Cardinal entered the third-place match after splitting the opening two games to determine the teams that competed in the championship.
Stanford won the first six courts, with Si Yi Ma leading the pack in the 1's court. After a close 12-10 game, Khushi Kukadia dominated in the final two, winning both 11-3.
To continue the post season run, Stanford will go to the CSA National Championships In Philadelphia from February 17-19.
