- No. 1 Stanford takes on No. 2 Texas and No. 12 Virginia Saturday at the Longhorn Invite in Austin, Texas April 27. Racing is scheduled to take place on Saturday morning. The four programs competing in the invitational (also Ohio State, which Stanford does not have a race scheduled against) have combined to win nine of the last 14 NCAA championships.

- No. 1 Stanford made its presence known on the national stage this weekend, dominating its competitors at the UVA Invite April 13-14 held at Lake Monticello outside of Charlottesville, Va. The Cardinal did not drop a race to its three opponents– No. 5 Yale, No. 8 Syracuse, and No. 11 Virginia– over the two-day regatta. Stanford won all its races by a minimum of two seconds, all the more impressive since all racing was completed in less than 24 hours due to weather forecasts shifting Saturday's racing to the evening.
- No. 1 Stanford started its 2024 season off on a strong note, besting No. 17 USC in all races of its season-opening dual at the Port of Los Angeles Friday evening. Stanford's third varsity eight set the pace for the entire regatta, topping USC by a 15-second margin. The Cardinal's varsity four boats raced next, with Stanford's A boat finishing first with a time of 7:18.0 followed by its B boat seven seconds later. USC's A boat came in with a time of 7:40.8 and its B boat crossed the finish line at 8:17.9. The Cardinal wrapped up racing with its second varsity eight and varsity eight boats each earning top finishes against its USC counterparts, each finishing with at least an 18 second-margin on its competitor.
- Defending national champion Stanford women's rowing had a strong showing in its first race of the 2023-24 season, as its two boats earned second-place divisional finishes respectively in the Women's Championship Eights event at the 2023 Head of the Charles regatta. The Cardinal sent two boats to the Head of the Charles to compete in the Women's Championship Eights event on the regatta's three-mile race course. Stanford's A boat was designated to the College-Championship division while the B boat was designated to the Junior Varsity division. Each boat earned a second-place finish in their respective divisions and top-14 finishes in the event overall.
- The Cardinal made its mark on rowing's biggest stage during the 2023 season, earning its first team national championship since 2009 to cement its status as the top women's rowing program in the country. Highlighted by victories from its varsity eight and second varsity eight crews, Stanford captured its second NCAA championship in school history at the 2023 NCAA Championships held at Cooper River Park, which was also the site of Stanford's first NCAA crown 14 years ago.
