NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – No. 1 Stanford coasted to a 19-6 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Friday afternoon in its opening round game of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational.

Six different players produced a multi-goal game, as Stanford (8-0, 0-0 MPSF) scored 19 times on 29 shot attempts while finishing 7-for-9 on power play opportunities.

The offensive balance has been a consistent theme early in the season for Stanford, a six-time champion of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational and winner of two of the last three tournaments overall. The Cardinal received goals from 13 different scorers on Friday, representing the sixth time this season at least 10 players have found the net.

Stanford has scored at least 12 goals while allowing eight goals or fewer in every game this season.

Ryann Neushul and Amber Nowaczek both scored twice and shared the team lead with three shot attempts while Juliette Dhalluin led the way with two assists.
