The Pac-12 did not sponsor indoor track and field, so Stanford has not competed in an indoor conference championship meet since 2020, the final year that the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation held a championship meet, with schools from the Pac-12 and Big West conferences.
Stanford competed in the MPSF indoor championships from 1993-2020, winning eight women’s team titles and three men’s. The most recent Stanford women’s title was 2012 and the most recent for the men was 2011.
Here are current Stanford athletes who have won conference championships (all in the Pac-12, outdoors or cross country):
Amy Bunnage (2023 women’s cross country)
Alyssa Jones (2023 and 2024 women’s long jump)
Juliette Whittaker (2023 women’s 800)
Roisin Willis (2024 women’s 800)
Kevin Yang (2023 men’s triple jump)
In their first season in the ACC, the Stanford women already own four ACC indoor records: Juliette Whittaker in the 800 (1:59.44), Amy Bunnage in the 5,000 (15:00.75), Alyssa Jones in the long jump (21-8, 6.60), and the distance medley relay team of Juliette Whittaker, Cate Peters, Roisin Willis, and Amy Bunnage (10:38.93).
