- No. 1 Stanford makes its final regular-season road trip to San Luis Obispo, California, to compete in the Center of Effort Challenge April 10-11, hosted by Cal Poly at Swanson Beach Volleyball Complex. The Cardinal is slated to take on No. 4 USC, No. 7 Loyola Marymount, No. 8 TCU and will play a fourth match to determine placement.
- Stanford will meet at least three top-10 opponents while in San Luis Obispo. The Cardinal faces the Trojans and Loyola Marymount on Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, before taking on the Horned Frogs on Saturday, April 11, at 11:30 a.m.
- The Cardinal enters the weekend on a 15-match winning streak, highlighted by a 6-0 run through matches on April 1 and April 3-4. In those three days, the Cardinal defeated four top-10 opponents: No. 2 UCLA, No. 4 USC, No. 6 Cal Poly and No. 10 Long Beach State. Stanford’s 15-match winning streak is its best in program history, topping its previous 13-match streak in 2021. Nineteen of the Cardinal’s 27 victories in 2026 have come over top-20-ranked programs.
- Stanford beach volleyball’s No. 4 pair, sophomore Indigo Clarke and junior Clara Stowell, was named American Volleyball Coaches Association/College Beach Volleyball (AVCA/CBVB) National Pair of the Week and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Pair of the Week, the associations announced Tuesday. Clarke and Stowell are Stanford’s second consecutive AVCA/CBVB and MPSF Pair of the Week selections in 2026.
- Stowell and Clarke have been on a tear this season, posting 22 victories in 26 matches played together. Throughout the week of March 30-April 6, the duo went 5-0, with four of those victories coming against top-10-ranked opponents. Three of the pair’s top-10 wins came in straight-set victories, besting pairs from No. 10 Long Beach State, No. 4 USC and No. 6 Cal Poly. The pair also clinched Stanford’s win over No. 2 UCLA, rebounding from a first-set loss to storm back to a 21-18 second-set win and a decisive 15-9 victory in the third set.
- The Cardinal finishes the regular season at home April 17-18, hosting No. 6 Cal Poly, No. 9 California, Pepperdine, and San Jose State for the Stanford West Coast Classic. Stanford’s matchups against the Mustangs and Golden Bears are scheduled for April 17 at 1 and 5 p.m., respectively. The Cardinal will take on the Waves and Spartans on April 18 at 1 and 5 p.m. Stanford’s match with the Spartans is the program’s Senior Day, during which the careers of Line Andersson, Kelly Belardi, Phoenix Clarke, Daria Gusarova, Sophie Kubiak, and Ashley Vincent will be celebrated in a post-match ceremony.
