Lauren Fendrick completed her seventh season as volunteer assistant coach in 2022, having been appointed to the position in Sept. 2016.

Fendrick was a multi-sport athlete at UCLA in volleyball and softball, graduating with a degree in communication studies in 2003. After graduating, Fendrick played professional indoor volleyball in Puerto Rico and Turkey before joining the AVP tour in 2003.

Fendrick joined the Cardinal after winning the 2016 AVP Championship in Chicago with partner Brook Sweat, with whom she competed at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

A native of San Diego, Fendrick also earned a law degree from USC and has passed the bar exam. Fendrick is married to Stanford beach volleyball head coach Andrew Fuller.
