It was a resurgent season for the Cardinal lights, finishing second in the Commissioner’s Cup standings at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships. The second-place finish was Stanford’s best since winning its fifth consecutive Commissioner’s Cup in 2019.
The Card placed in the top four of all three events, trailing Princeton 66-67 for the top spot. Leading the way was a title in the 4+ grand final, as the team of Marissa Chow (coxswain), Brooke Legenzowski (stroke), Lauren Koester (No. 3), Elle Rosenfeld (No. 2) and Lauren Howe (bow) earned a 3.2-second victory over runner-up Boston University.
After the season, Emily Molins and Grace Padula took home CRCA All-American Honors. Additionally, seven earned CRCA Scholar Athlete recognition – Molins was joined by Mikayla Chen, Lydia Garnett, Hannah Justicz, Juliette Lermusiaux, Maddie Lloyd and Anna Meurer.
