BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – No. 2 Stanford remained perfect through its first six games, dominating a pair of matches on the opening day of competition at the Midwest Invite.

Both games followed a familiar script this season, in which Stanford (6-0, 0-0 MPSF) has produced impressive offensive balance and stingy defensive efforts. The Cardinal extended its streaks of having scored at least 12 goals while allowing eight scores or fewer in every game this season.

The Cardinal delivered back-to-back 20-goal performances, with a 24-4 rout of Marist in the nightcap representing its highest scoring output since a 25-8 win over Fresno State on Jan. 28, 2023.

Efficiency was on point: the Cardinal scored its 46 goals on 66 attempts.

Stanford closes out tournament play on Sunday, Feb. 9, against Michigan at 7 a.m. PT.

Jewel Roemer’s four goals on five shots led all players while Jenna Flynn and Alissa Pascual contributed hat tricks en route to a 24-4 victory.
