Dominic Vincentini is in his 10th year working with the Stanford sports medicine department. He is in his eighth season with the men’s basketball program in 2023-24, after working with the Cardinal baseball, sailing and squash programs.

A Nebraska native, Vincentini is a Board Of Certification Inc., Certified Athletic Trainer. Since becoming certified in 2007, Vincentini has experience working with many different sports at various levels with his most recent stint being at Miami University.

Prior to Miami University, he had the opportunity of holding collegiate athletic training positions at Washington State University and the University of New Mexico. He has also worked as a member of ESPN Sports Medical staff and still works with the XMED Incorporated staff providing risk management and athletic training services to action sport athletes.

His experience at Miami University and the University of New Mexico as an instructor and preceptor for the undergraduate Athletic Training Education Programs have led him to work with the Board of Certification (BOC), where he was selected as a member of the BOC Exam Development Committee in 2013.

A 2006 graduate of the University of Nebraska with degree in Athletic Training, Vincentini received his masters degree in 2009 in Sports Administration at the University of New Mexico.
