2006 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships May 20-29: Taube Tennis Center |
Stanford University welcomes the best men's and women's collegiate tennis players this May for the 2006 NCAA Championships. Veteran coaches and players that have been to Palo Alto know and appreciate the knowledgeable tennis crowds that pack the Taube Family Tennis Center. This will be the fifth time the Stanford women's program will play host to the NCAA Championships, and the second time that the Stanford men's program has hosted the NCAA Championships, although it will be the first time since 1962. This year's NCAA Championships will feature the women's team tournament from May 18-22, with the men's team tournament running concurrently from May 19-23. Both team championships will be followed by the singles and doubles championships from May 23-28 for the women and from May 24-29 for the men. **Programming Note: ESPN2 will provide tape delay programming of the team championship round, with the women's title match airing on May 30 at Noon (PT) and the men's title match airing on May 31 at Noon (PT). |
