Sam Roush and Collin Wright completed drills in Indianapolis

With the 2026 NFL Draft approaching, Stanford Football’s pipeline to the league remains strong. Team captains Sam Roush and Collin Wright declared for the draft following the season and earned invites to the NFL Combine.

He delivered a strong on-field performance, clocking a 4.70 in the 40-yard dash along with a 1.61 10-yard split, 7.08 3-cone drill and 4.37 20-yard shuttle, demonstrating the athletic profile that has made him one of the most intriguing players at his position.

Wright didn't complete all of the drills at the Combine, particpating in just the Vertical Jump and catching drills. He will continue his draft preparation at Stanford’s Pro Day, on March 18th, where he will have another opportunity to impress NFL evaluators.
