Women's Swimming and Diving Finishes Second at ACC Championships

The program collects 5 individual ACC Titles

Competing at the ACC Swimming and Diving Championships in Atlanta, the Stanford Women’s swimming and diving team had a productive weekend, collecting five ACC Titles and finishing second in the overall competition.

Day three saw the Cardinal claim their first title of the week as freshman Ellie Cole captured the ACC title in the platform dive on Tuesday afternoon. On Day four, Torri Huske defended her 200 individual medley crown by edging out Louisville's Anastasia Gorbenko in a dead heat to the finish, clocking a season-best 1:51.27 to win by .003 seconds.

On Wednesday, Lucy Bell started the night with a career performance, setting a new meet record and breaking the four-minute barrier for the first time in her career to win the 400 IM championship. Huske also added her second individual title of the week in yet another impressive showing, clocking a personal-best 48.26 to repeat as the 100 fly ACC champion.

Men's Swimming and Diving Comes Second at ACC Championships

The team came home with four ACC Individual Titles

Stanford Men’s swimming and diving also spent this week in Atlanta competing in the ACC Swimming and Diving Championships, claiming four ACC Titles and finishing second in the overall competition.

The first ACC title came in the 800 free relay, with one of the most dramatic events of the week to this point. Andres Dupont Cabrera, Ethan Ekk, Jason Zhao, and Henry McFadden teamed up to come roaring from behind to pass NC State in the final yards. Misha Andriyuk took home Stanford’s first-ever ACC title in the platform dive, and Stanford’s second-ever ACC diving title with a score of 412.30 in the finals.

In the 400 IM, Josh Zuchowski took home the ACC title, pulling ahead late after the final turn at the wall to win with a time of 3:38.58, the third-fastest time in Stanford history. 

Henry McFadden defended his title in the 200 Free, setting an ACC Championship record in the event with his time of 1:31.05. He is the first repeat conference champion that Stanford has had in the ACC.

Women's Foil is Stanford's First ACC Fencing Individual Title

Reigning national champion, Arianna Cao, became the first Cardinal to win an ACC Championship in fencing, taking home the Women’s Foil gold medal, earning the fencing team its first ACC title in just its second season in the conference.

Stanford Claims Four Medals in Milan

Eileen Gu Wins Three Medals, including Gold, Zoe Atkin wins Bronze

With the closing ceremony complete, the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina have officially wrapped. Four Stanford undergraduates took the world stage at the Games—Eileen Gu, Zoe Atkin, Brandon Kim, and Sammy Smith.

Of the four Cardinal in MIlan, two brought home medals for their respective countries. Competing against each other in the freeski halfpipe event, Eileen Gu, represneting China, took home the gold while Zoe Atkin, representing Great Britain, took home the bronze. 

Gu also medaled in two other events, winning silver medals in both the big air and slopestyle skiing events. With her six olympic medals, Gu is the msot decorted olympic freestyle skier in history. In total, the Cardinal in Milan brought home four medals.

Pritchard announces 4 new hires

Since his hiring in November, the Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football Tavita Pritchard has been hard at work assembling his coaching staff, and his group is beginning to take shape. 

Last week, a slew of names were announced to join the staff. To lead the deffense, Kris Richard was named the Willie Shaw Director of Defense & Defensive Backs Coach. Richard comes to the Farm after spenidng five years on Alabama's defensive staff. 

Also joinng Pritchard's staff are Brian Bratton, who was named the Krishnamurthi Wide Recievers Coach. Keli'i Kekuewa who was named Offensive Line Coach, and James Mosley who was named defensive line coach.

Stanford claims The Prestige Team title while Kush Arora wins The Prestige Individual Tournament

With high winds forcing a cancellation of play for the third round of The Prestige, Stanford men’s golf earned its first tournament win in nearly two years being crowned champions after 36 holes of action. Stanford, which held a three-stroke lead through two rounds, earned its first tournament victory since the 2023-24 season. 

Stanford, which was coming off a strong outing in Hawaii to begin the spring slate, snagged the lead on Tuesday’s second round with a brilliant display of golf from all five Cardinal.

Meanwhile, over at The Prestige Individual Tournament, Stanford took home the individual crown as Kush Arora nabbed his first collegiate win, turning in a 1-under, 71, to narrowly beat out teammate Ethan Gao for the title.

Beach Volleyball Upsets No. 1 in Hawaii

Stanford has now topped a No. 1 team in the opening weekend of the NCAA season for the second straight campaign

No. 2 Stanford Beach Volleyball opened up their season with a slew of ranked matchups on Queen’s Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The team will leave the Aloha State 5-1 with five top-16 victory, including a stunning upset of No.1 UCLA. Stanford has now defeated the No. 1 team in the opening weekend of the season for the second straight campaign.

The Cardinal also captured victories over No. 6 Texas, No. 7 LMU, No. 9 Cal, and No. 16 Hawaii with their only loss coming to No.4 USC.

Women's Water Polo Earns Top-5 Win

No. 1 Stanford outlasted No. 5 Arizona State 16-11 to remain unbeaten

No. 1 Stanford used a second-half surge to outlast No. 5 Arizona State 16-11 on Saturday afternoon in the MPSF opener for both teams at Avery Aquatic Center. Tied 7-7 at halftime, Stanford (7-0, 1-0 MPSF) outscored Arizona State (18-2, 0-1 MPSF) 9-4 over the final two periods to pull away for the win.

The Cardinal’s top two scorers were unstoppable throughout the match. Juliette Dhalluin, who recorded her fourth hat trick of the season while extending her streak of scoring at least twice in every game, matched a career high with six goals to go along with three assists.

Women's Lacrosse Stays Perfect

The program has now opened up the season 5-0

No. 2 Stanford women’s lacrosse continued their undefeated start to the season, collecting three wins to begin the season 5-0. 

Monday afternoon saw a dominant outing for the team as three Cardinal made their return to their home state, accounting for 10 of Stanford's 18 goals in an 18-6 win over Vanderbilt. On a chilly Friday night,  eleven caused turnovers and five saves from Lucy Pearson solidified a home-opening win as the Cardinal dispelled No. 13 Syracuse, 8-6.

Fresh off a thrilling Friday night win over ranked opposition, the Card got it done on both sides of the field on Sunday as 10 different players recorded a point while the Cardinal defense limited USC’s offense in an 18-4 win at Cagan Stadium on Sunday.

Wrestling earns upset in final dual of regular season

The Cardinal dominated the Tar Heels 28-6

In its final dual of the season, Stanford (7-6, 4-2 ACC) won eight of 10 bouts, including two by bonus points. Jack Consiglio and EJ Parco registered upsets to lead No. 14 Stanford past No. 16 North Carolina, 28-6, Friday at Carmichael Arena.

Parco posted his fourth consecutive win by knocking off No 16 Bryce Harper, 2-1, at 165 pounds. The redshirt freshman, who is unranked, notched his second straight win over a ranked opponent as he improves to 10-6 overall and 6-4 in duals.

Baseball season begins at Sunken Diamond

The program split a four-game series Cal State Fullerton

After a six-run first inning propelled the Stanford baseball team to a 11-6 win over Nebraska, on Monday in Arizona at the MLB Desert Invitational, the Card opened up their home season at Sunken Diamond by splitting a four-game series with Cal State Fullerton.

After a series opening loss on Friday, Saturday saw Stanford walk off with a 4-3 victory in the bottom of the ninth inning in the first game of a doubleheader, but in the second game Stanford dropped a 4-3 decision to Fullerton.

On Sunday, sophomore right-hander Parker Warner was stellar, and sophomore Charlie Bates delivered a go-ahead triple in the seventh inning, as Stanford topped the Titans 3-1, splitting the series.

Women's Baksetball wins in Tallahassee

Nunu Agara scores 22 and Courtney Ogden 21 to snap four-game losing streak

Nunu Agara scored 22, Courtney Ogden 21 and Stanford snapped a four-game losing skid with a 77-61 win at Florida State on Sunday afternoon.

Agara led all scorers with 22 points and a game-high 14 rebounds, her sixth double-double of the season. Ogden had 21 points, five rebounds and a game-high six assists, while Lara Somfai scored 15 and Chloe Clardy chipped in 12 off the bench.

With the win, Stanford (17-12, 6-10 ACC) clinched a berth in the Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament in two weeks in Duluth, Ga.

Sailing begins season with pair of wins

The Cardinal finished first at Bryson Women’s Fleet Race, Top-9 Invitational

The Cardinal opened the Spring season with a pair of wins this weekend, taking first in the Bryson Women’s Fleet Race and Top-9 Invite.The Top-9 Spring Invite featured combined scoring, and both Cardinal boats landed in the top three. 

Stanford’s A boat of Thomas Whidden, Amiya Stroumza, Freddie Parkin and Abby Baird finished first with 52 points, while the B boat of Dylan Sih, Caroline Geiger and Alexandra Jones took third with 62. 

At the Bryson Women’s Fleet Race, the Card boats again finished first and second in combined scoring.

Women's Gymnastics tops NC State

The win clinches a share of ACC regular-season title

Collegiate-best all-around totals from senior Anna Roberts and freshman Ana Bărbosu led the No. 10 Cardinal to its season-best team score at No. 22 NC State Saturday afternoon, topping the Wolfpack 197.725-196.575 inside Valvano Arena at William Neal Reynolds Coliseum.

The Cardinal’s team total of 197.725 matches its eighth-best score in program history. With the win in Raleigh, Stanford clinched at least a share of the ACC regular-season title.

Men's Gymnastics sends Five to U.S. Men's National Team

The team wins all-around bronze at Winter Cup

Five Cardinal were named to the latest U.S. Men's National Team, as Stanford sent eight gymnasts to compete in the Winter Cup on Saturday evening. On the competition floor, David Shamah highlighted the Cardinal contingent by winning the all-around bronze with a 79.608. 

Following the meet, Riley Loos and Shamah were named to the National Team roster alongside current Cardinal gymnast Asher Hong and Stanford alumni Taylor Burkhart and Brody Malone. Jun Iwai was also named to the Senior Development Team.

Women's Tennis sweeps Georgia Tech

The Cardinal swpe the No.59 Yellow Jackets 4-0

Stanford started off its conference slate with a 4-0 sweep of No. 59 Georgia Tech on Friday afternoon.

In doubles, the freshman duo of Alyssa Ahn and Tianmei Wang cruised to a 6-0 victory. Caroline Driscoll and Monika Ekstrand rallied and staved off multiple match points to swing momentum to their side, pulling out a 7-5 victory.

Singles wasn’t as dramatic with Ahn storming through her match on court two 6-1, 6-0. Tianmei Wang was a 6-3, 6-0 winner on court four and Ekstrand clinched it with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the top spot

Men's Volleyvall sweeps Weekend

Stanford blanks Concordia over two matches

Stanford men’s volleyball bounced back from a rough weekend against Hawaii by sweeping Concordia 6-0 over two matches. Saturday, Stanford registered a season-high 15.0 blocks, sweeping Concordia, 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.

On Sunday, the Cardinal stayed hot as it hit .366 as a team – its third-highest output this season. Concordia was held to a .095 clip in another sweep,  25-23, 25-16, 25-14. The Cardinal again matched its season-high with six aces and held a 9.5 to 1.0 advantage in blocks.
